Series of three diptychs composed each of an archive photograph and of a micrograph. On the left are shown portraits of three pioneers of ethnologic recording who, from Europe, travelled the world in the early 20th century to document certain musical traditions. On the right, the photographs realized with a microscope show at a large scale a fragment of the matter of an audio recording either on wax cylinder or vinyl record.
