Mural at De Doelen, Rotterdam
I was commissioned by De Doelen to design a large mural for the Willem Burger Foyer, which we are implementing this summer together with Michelle & Willem | MINEUR.
Right in the centre of Rotterdam, a stone's throw from Rotterdam CS stands one of the city's iconic buildings. De Doelen: Concert hall, pop podium, conference venue, festival heart, vibrant hotspot and national monument in the heart of Rotterdam.
‘For De Doelen, Anuli Croon is creating a work for the Willem Burger Foyer, where it will have a welcoming and monumental effect.
The work is not only present, but at the same time supports the space. Anuli was inspired by the architecture of the Willem Burger Foyer and by Rotterdam. She wants to give this place a heart through a distinct design in vibrant colours.’
